Nordic Walk for Nepal Sunday 10th May Sandringham

I would like as many of you to turn out on Sunday 10th 2:30pm at Sandringham for a social walk. (Bring Picnic for afterwards if weather is good). There will be no fee for this session but ask that you dig deep into your pockets and put some money into the bucket for Nepal. Life is very hard there and the only way to make a living for many is to work for the climbing expeditions. Unfortunately many have died over the years and its not just these hardy porters and guides this time, it is not just on the mountains but nationwide as has been portrayed on the news. As a climber, as well as being your Nordic walking instructor I want to do something however small by giving my time to help raise some amount of money, however small to make a difference. I appeal to your altruism to come and have fun (bring some food and drink cos we can have a picnic afterwards if the weather permits and reflect upon how lucky we are). If you haven’t been Nordic walking for a while this is a good opportunity to come and be reacquainted with Nordic poles. I hope to persuade our walk leaders and trainee walk leaders to come along and help. Please share this with all your Nordic walking friends. Thanks.
